Peyam-E-Iqbal concert 12 November

LAFZ Magazine and ISRA Books present a Qawwali tour by the Hussain Brothers, setting Iqbal's Urdu and Persian verse to music.

The Birmingham evening on 12 November is held in association with Iqbal Academy (U.K.), whose Chairman will introduce the programme and place the verse in the context of Iqbal's thought.

Selections are drawn from Bang-e-Dara and Bal-e-Jibril. Translations are read in English between sets, so no knowledge of Urdu or Persian is needed to follow the evening.
